Taipei Grand Hike

Each section's ends, waypoints, distance, suggested time, difficulty and audience follow the route descriptions published on the Taipei Grand Hike website of the Geotechnical Engineering Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government (updated July 2026); the site's GPX files carry no licence, so they are not used: the routes are worked out from these waypoints on OpenStreetMap's trails (ODbL, above) and checked against the Grand Hike markers and maps tagged on OpenStreetMap. Follow the trail signs on site.

Note

Routes are generated from open data and not surveyed stretch by stretch. Follow signs on site for works, closures, floodgates and detours.
